MAP Final Paper Requirements
Length: For full credit, please write AT LEAST 12-13 double-spaced, 12-point font pages of writing (roughly 3600-3900 words for your paper)
Title page, abstract, author biography, pictures, and works cited do not count towards page count. Title page/abstract/bio/pictures are not required.
Final papers should be polished. The narrative should be cohesive throughout paper. Grammar and spelling errors should be absent in the final product. Papers should not rely to a major degree, nor should they systematically exclude, quotations from other authors.
McQuiston comments: Final papers will be graded with paper proposal comments. Final papers should make a substantial attempt to address any concerns raised by Dr. McQuiston in our in-class and email correspondences.

George, decent proposal. I think you will have to go pretty deeply into a discussion of the Great Depression to really get to the page limits (13+ pages) for this assignment. I think if you talk about the different approaches that the Democrats and Republicans had taken in regards to be involved economically, the steps that FDR took while he was in the Oval Office, and perhaps the role of Congress and Supreme Court before, during, and after the Great Depression you should be able to hit that page count.
