It should describe your topic and why you think it is important to study. You should define your parameters in terms of the timeline (i.e. 1930s, since 1977, etc.) and objects of study. You need to describe the research you plan on doing and how that will inform your paper. Based on your knowledge and preliminary research – what do you think will be your argument? Why do you think this is an important topic? Why should we all be interested in reading it? Try to push these questions as far as you can.

PS.MUST-READ!!!!!

Bibliography

You need a list of at least five (up to ten) sources for your project, as well as at least one essay from a class that will inform your project. Your sources should give you historical context for your study as well as giving you a sense of what has already been saying about your topic. You may or may not have primary sources, such as those found on the Media History Digital Library or more contemporary trade publications. It is up to you to argue in your description of what is needed for your particular project. Your sources should also include books found in ebook form through the library, academic articles found on Jstor or other academic search engines. Reading a couple of these before writing your project description would be helpful in placing your project in the context
